Our Commitment to Good Governance & Responsible Practice

At Children Relief Service (CRS), our policies provide the framework for how we work, make decisions, protect people, manage resources, and remain accountable to the communities we serve.

As a community-led nonprofit organization, CRS is committed to conducting its work with integrity, transparency, fairness, accountability, and respect for human dignity. Our policies help ensure that our programmes and operations are guided by clear standards and responsible practices.

Our policy framework covers key areas including child safeguarding, protection from gender-based violence, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse, professional conduct, and privacy and data protection.

CRS regularly reviews and strengthens its policies as the organization grows and as applicable laws, regulations, and recognized good practices evolve.

Accountability and Continuous Improvement

These policies form an important part of CRS’s commitment to responsible organizational practice. All individuals working with or representing CRS are expected to understand and uphold the standards relevant to their roles.

CRS welcomes feedback from children, families, community members, staff, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders. Feedback helps us identify areas for improvement and strengthen the way we work.
